Black Bear populations are very stable and increasing every year in British Columbia. Baiting is not allowed in BC, so the method we use is spot and stalk with a guide being with you at all times.
We hunt the Black Bears in the Spring. This time of the year the bears are out looking for feed and mates throughout the spring days. This hunt is very relaxing and exciting due to the variety of animals we see and the generally nice weather.
Success is high on this hunt due to the number of bears in our area and the size of the area we hunt.
During the 6 days you will likely see many bears (15-30).
Color phases of Black Bears are common here: Light or Dark Brown, Blonde, Black with White chest and Jet Black.
